Primary Responsibilities
- complies with safety regulations and operates equipment precisely and safely
- operates within the parameters of the PD help program and carries out job-related tasks safely and competently.
- Help with the assembly, breakdown, and programming of the cycler. Help with the daily evaluations of blood pressure and weight.
- Help add heparin to the dialysate
- Electronically recording visit notes and therapy numbers Within the predetermined timeframe, responds to the Care Services Center (CSC) Team’s scheduling questions and updates.
- Communicates openly with your Care Designer whenever chances arise to improve the care and experience of your clients.
Requirements and Experience
- To apply for this job, you must be able to work in Canada legally.
- To travel locally to, from, and between clients’ houses, a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are requirements (Mileage compensated) supplying the region of Prince Rupert
- It is Monday through Friday. two hours per day
- The capacity to freely reach, bend, squat, and kneel
- Able to lift 20 kg without restriction
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions in relation to the care of the client
- A Vulnerable Sector Search and a Background or Criminal Record Check, updated every five years for continuous employment,
- Registered Health Care Assistant certification and/or a minimum of five years of experience providing homecare
- Negative TB test (revised every five years to ensure employment)
