Responsibilities
Inventory Data Management & Analysis
- Maintain and validate inventory records to ensure accuracy across all warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory turnover rates, stock levels, and demand patterns to optimize stock replenishment.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and aging stock to support decision-making.
Warehouse Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Track and analyze key warehouse KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment rates, picking accuracy, cycle times).
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Present findings to management with actionable recommendations to enhance productivity.
Process Optimization & Inventory Control
- Identify inefficiencies in warehouse workflows and propose solutions to streamline operations.
- Work with logistics teams to optimize space utilization, reduce excess inventory, and minimize waste.
- Support the implementation of best practices in inventory control and warehouse management.
- Assist in the adoption of automation and technology solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Data Tools
- Utilize WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, JDA) to extract and analyze operational data.
- Maintain system integrity by ensuring accurate data entry and resolving system discrepancies.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and other data analysis tools (Power BI, SQL, Python) to interpret large datasets.
- Support system upgrades and integrations to enhance reporting capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to align inventory strategies.
- Assist in demand forecasting and planning to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Provide analytical support for special projects, such as warehouse layout redesign or new technology implementations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 0-3years of experience in warehouse analytics, inventory control, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
