Job Title: Lab Solutions Manager
- Location: Pennsylvania, US (On-site/Hybrid options available)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary Range: 90,000–130,000 per year (based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer, support, and manage server-based laboratory applications within labclinic56’s Analytical Labs, ensuring continuous system operation and availability.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 “on-call” support schedule, coordinating with software vendors for issue resolution as needed.
- Maintain systems in a compliant, secure, and efficient environment to help control costs, mitigate risks, and enhance productivity.
- Work closely with Lab Operations and Metrology teams to effectively communicate and address system requirements within Analytical Services.
- Support the development and global implementation of laboratory infrastructure systems, contributing to key initiatives in lab automation and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, execute, and review IQs (Installation Qualifications), OQs (Operational Qualifications), PQs (Performance Qualifications), and validation protocols as required.
- Initiate, review, and revise documents such as laboratory investigations, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other assigned documentation.
- Ensure seamless integration of new systems and software with existing laboratory processes and infrastructure.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing technical support and system documentation as needed.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all laboratory procedures comply with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and lead corrective action plans when necessary.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory inspections and certifications.
Team Management & Development
- Supervise a team of lab technicians, scientists, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative work environment through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Address staffing needs, including recruitment and onboarding.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify bottlenecks in lab workflows and implement scalable solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging laboratory technologies and automation trends.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new testing methodologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Laboratory systems or a Scientific field
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of lab-based systems
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
Certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in process optimization, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and data analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment.
