Basic Qualifications

  • High school or its equivalent
  • Less than 3 years’ experience

Experience

  • It is very ideal to have prior experience in a food safety, pharmaceutical, industrial, or microbiology laboratory.
  • As a Microbiology Technician, It is advantageous to have practical experience with microbiological procedures such colony counts, sample plating, and aseptic technique.

Technical Proficiency

  • Solid knowledge of the fundamentals of microbiology, including virology, parasitology, mycology, and bacteriology.
  • Competence in laboratory procedures such autoclaving, gram staining, pipetting, streaking, and medium preparation.
